4th of July holiday closures

LIHUE – In observance of Independence Day, County of Kauai offices will be closed on Friday.

Closures also include the following facilities on July 4:

• All refuse transfer stations;

• The Kekaha Landfill;

• All neighborhood centers;

• The Waimea and Kapaa swimming pools;

• All HI5 redemption centers; and

• The Kauai Resource Center (composting bins, batteries, fluorescent lights, reuse).

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged.

The Kauai Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.

The Waimea and Kapaa pools, refuse transfer stations, and the Kekaha Landfill will resume their regular schedule on Saturday.

Regular business hours for all county offices and services will resume on July 7.
