COVID-19 cases declined at both the state and county levels this week.
Kaua‘i’s seven-day average is at 21 cases a day, down from 24 cases last week and the statewide average was 528 cases a day, down from 573 the week before.
Kaua‘i’s test positivity rate was 17.3% — higher than the state average of 13.8%
73% of the county had completed the primary vaccination series, the highest vaccination rate among the neighbor islands.
42% of residents are boosted and 9% received a second booster.
