HONOLULU – Sen. Lorraine Inouye said the Camp Alan Fayé Program on Kauai and Camp Honokaia on Hawaii Island and will receive funding for renovations and improvements.
Gov. David Ige released $450,000 that will be used to renovate the camps, upgrade facilities, add program infrastructure and replaced toilets and shower facilities bringing them into compliance with the EPA and Department of Health regulations.
Funding will also be for programs expanded by the addition of the Cub Scout girls, which required additional facilities to serve both girls and boys.
