Lane closures will be in effect on Highway 19 north of Hilo on Monday for road paving.
The state Department of Transportation said lanes of traffic will alternate from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. between Honolii Bridge and Kuikahi Street.
Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area.
