HONOLULU — The Kapaa High School Cheer team, led by Coach Roseanna Jerves, earned a bunch of achievement certificates and pins during the Varsity’s USA SHOWTIME camp that wrapped up on Sunday at the Iolani Schools on Oahu.
Jerves said the Warrior Cheer team earned six additional All-American titles, a pair of additional pin recipients, and the camp’s highest evaluation “Superior” award during the camp. The event was hosted by Iolani Schools and led by Director Dahlston Delgado of Netflix Cheer Series and Conner Hubert.
Kapaa’s Private camp instruction was headed by Stace Antigue of Navarro Cheer, and the Kapaa team’s Coed class was headed by Antigue and Tatiyana Davis of Navarro Cheer, both current NCA College National Champions.
The weekend event wraps up Kapaa High School Cheer’s camp season, Jerves said.
“With this season completion, Kapaa Warrior Cheer is now nationally credentialed to enter Varsitys High School National Competitions,” Jerves said. “Kapaa intends to compete in the national circuit starting in January of 2026.”
The Kapaa Warrior Cheer team is made up of 11 team members, including four seniors, two juniors, two sophomores and three freshmen.
