LIHUE – The Kauai Police Department (KPD) is actively investigating multiple crimes that occurred overnight this past week in the Lihue area and is requesting the public’s help in identifying individuals captured in surveillance footage.
The reported incidents include:
• A series of vehicle break-ins in residential neighborhoods involving unlocked vehicles
• Criminal property damage at Elsie H. Wilcox Elementary School
Both incidents occurred Tuesday night. Surveillance footage has captured individuals believed to be connected to these cases. Detectives are looking into whether the incidents may be related and are urging the community to come forward with any information.
