LIHUE — Single-lane closures for portions of Kekaha have been scheduled for the entirety of the week.
On Monday, the Department of Public Works announced the scheduled closure of portions of Kekaha Road, between Manu Road and Kaumualii Highway.
The contractor Maui Kupono Builders, will begin the work at 8 a.m. and will work through 3:30 on Friday, Feb. 14.
The closures are necessary for road resurfacing work, however, all work is dependent on the weather. Residents will be allowed partial access through the closure.
Motorists are reminded to make appropriate arrangements to accommodate the closures. During the work, there will be no parking allowed in the zone. Flaggers will be positioned throughout the week to direct the traffic.
