State Rep. Joy San Buenaventura will host a community meeting Saturday on recovery efforts related to last year’s Kilauea eruption. The meeting is from 1-3 p.m. at Pahoa Community Center, 15-3022 Kauhale St.
Also attending are Dennis Onishi, representing the governor’s office; Paul Normann of Neighborhood Place of Puna; Hawaii County Councilwoman Ashley Kierkiewicz; Brandee Menino of Hope Services; and Sharon Hirota, of the Mayor’s Office.
Certificates honoring Ikaika Marzo, Pu‘uhonua o Puna and other organizations that helped Puna during the disaster will be presented.
