Military vets gifted home in Puna: ‘Incredible couple’ honored for their service

A retired U.S. Marine Corps gunnery sergeant wounded in Afghanistan and his U.S. Army veteran wife, a helicopter pilot in the same conflict, received the ultimate “thank you for your service” on Thursday — a three-bedroom, two-bath, mortgage-free home with garage in the Ainaloa subdivision of Pahoa.
