PRINCEVILLE — A minor was rescued Wednesday evening after being swept off the rocks at Queen’s Bath, according to officials.
Around 4:45 p.m. yesterday, the county’s Ocean Safety Bureau’s North roving ski patrol and Station 1 Hanalei firefighters were dispatched after a 911 call.
About 10 minutes later, lifeguards located and retrieved the 15-year-old male with minor scrapes. He is in stable condition, according to a county spokesperson.
Gate access to Queen’s Bath closed last September for the winter season through March 2021.
