HANALEI — Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative advises North Shore residents between Princeville Airport and Waikoko that power will be off on Monday, April 13 from 10:30 p.m. to Tuesday, April 14, at 12:30 a.m., for work on the transmission line near the bridge over the Hanalei River.
During this time, the eastbound lane of Kuhio Highway will be closed so crews can move the transmission lines from a pole near the river to a pole across the highway. Motorists are advised to drive safely through the work area.
