Obituaries for July 8

Francisco Baza Guzman, 88, of Pahoa died June 20 at home. Born in Agana, Guam, he was a retired Outside Machine Shop (Shop 38) supervisor for Pearl Harbor Shipyard, U.S. Army Korean War veteran and member of Sacred Heart Parish in Pahoa. Visitation 9-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pahoa. Mass at 9:30 a.m. Graveside committal service 11:30 a.m. at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 pavilion in Hilo. Survived by children, Liz (Gary) Morgan of Pahoa, June Nixon of Indiana, FrankAnthony (Stacy) Guzman of Pearl City, Oahu, Alan (Karen) Guzman of Waianae, Oahu, Vivian (Raymond) Guzman-Aniban of Ewa Beach, Oahu, and Wayne Guzman of Pahoa; brother, David B. (Lily) Guzman of Guam; 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
