Hawaii Preparatory put up a fight, but narrowly lost to Hawaii Baptist with the score of 44-42 in the HHSAA Division II girls basketball quarterfinals at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium on Thursday. HBA will advance to the semifinals against Kapaa today at 5 p.m. HPA will compete in the consolation bracket with the first game against Pearl City at 1 p.m.
