A suspect police said was wanted for questioning in a Waimea shooting is in custody.
Officers from South Kohala Patrol and the Kona Special Enforcement Unit arrested 21-year-old Jerome Kahoalii-Heath of Kailua-Kona without incident Monday evening.
Anyone with information on the shooting, which took place Friday on Mana Road, is asked to call the police nonemergency line at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
