Police seek leads on reported runaway teen

Hawaii Island police are seeking the public’s help with finding a 17-year-old boy reported as a runaway.

Quintyn Gonsalves was last seen June 12 in Pahoa. He’s described as 5 feet, 2 inches tall, 120 pounds, with short, light-brown curly hair, a fair complexion and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red flannel jacket, black T-shirt, ripped blue jeans and black-and-gray-checkered shoes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the police nonemergency line at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
