KILAUEA — Registration is open for a worldwide summer nature camp for 2020, a camp for children and families of all ages that emphasizes environmental education and limiting screen time, and promotes life skills like critical thinking, the importance of exercise and body movement and connects participants from around the world for weekly meet-ups.
The hybrid, real-time and virtual camp offers a way to come together and learn about nature while cultivating awareness, community participation and connection to the earth.
Anyone interested in getting involved can join a group hosting a camp in Kilauea.
