Two Big Island nonprofits to receive shares of USDA grants

Two Big Island nonprofits will receive a share of more than $42 million in grants awarded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture through the Inflation Reduction Act to nine organizations for planting and maintaining trees, combat extreme heat, and improve access to green space in communities throughout the state.
