HANALEI AND ANINI – The Department of Water (DOW) reminds customers in the Hanalei community and Anini Beach areas, that a water conservation request remains in effect. Residents are encouraged to limit water use as much as possible. Water conservation measures include turning off appliances and fixtures that automatically draw water such as ice machines and irrigation systems, as well as refraining from washing cars.
DOW has secured a contractor to perform the repair and replacement of equipment at the pump station. The necessary components have been manufactured and are currently in transit to Kauai. Once these parts are received, work will commence.
DOW appreciates customers for their ongoing conservation efforts and cooperation.
