Due to the high volume of cases, DOH case investigators will likely make contact with positive cases several days after the positive test.

With the shortened isolation period, in some instances case investigators will not be able to reach positive cases before the end of isolation periods.

All testing positive should immediately isolate at home and notify close contacts, workplaces and schools as approriate, and not wait for a DOH contact tracer to make contact. Isolation and quarantine guidance are available at the DOH website,, and look for the document Home-Isolation-and-Quarantine-Guidance.pdf.
