Bone and joint services open in Kapaa

KAPAA — Wilcox Health hosted a community open house on Friday to highlight the Bone and Joint services that are now available at the Kauai Medical Clinic, Kapaa, located under the clock tower at the Kauai Village Shopping Center.

“Our mission is to create a healthier Hawaii, and adding Bone and Joint providers to the Kauai Medical Clinic in Kapaa will help us achieve that by expanding our services so we can serve more patient in convenient locations,” said Jen Chahanovich, president and CEO of Wilcox Medical Center and Kauai Medical Clinic.

The Wilcox Bone and Joint Center team provides comprehensive orthopedic care for patients of all ages across Kauai. Specialists use state-of-the-art technology to treat a range of injuries and chronic conditions, including arthritis that affects all parts of the body.

Locations in Lihue, Eleele and now Kapaa enable the Wilcox team of providers to offer the community expertise in joint replacement, robotic-assisted surgery, sports medicine, podiatry, pediatric care and therapeutic injections.

Kauai Medical Clinic, Kapaa, now offers total-body orthopedic care. Providers from the Wilcox Bone and Joint Center are available to treat a range of conditions and injuries, including arthritis and issues that affect the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle and foot.

X-ray services, sports medicine and injections are also provided on-site in Kapaa.

The Kauai Medical Clinic in Kapaa is a comprehensive care clinic built to expand primary-care services and support more patients on Kauai’s East Side. The clinic is 7,900 square feet and features 16 exam rooms, two procedure rooms, and X-ray services.

Services at the Kauai Medical Clinic, Kapaa, include primary care services, including pediatric patients, bone and joint providers and visiting OB-GYN specialists and cardiologists.
