COVID-19 update: Cases declining

• The State Department of Health COVID-19 dashboard reported a seven-day average of 13 new cases per day as of Aug. 21.

• The test positivity rate for the county was 12.9%.

• 73% of the county have completed an initial vaccination.

• No new deaths were reported on Kaua‘i.

• Statewide there was a daily average of 322 cases with a positivity rate of 8.6
