First Tee-Hawai‘i to host free coaches clinic

LIHU‘E — Are you a creator of game changers?

First Tee-Hawai‘i, a junior golf program that teaches kids 7 to 17 life skills through participation in the game of golf, is currently looking for coaches, both paid and volunteer positions, for its program that starts on Kaua‘i in December.

To help individuals get started on the coaches’ path, First Tee-Hawai‘i will be hosting a complimentary Level 1 coaches training clinic on Nov. 11 at The Ocean Course at Hokuala to prepare coaches for the new junior golf sessions, which will start at both The Ocean Course at Hokuala and Puakea Golf Course.

Ahead of the clinic, interested individuals are invited to visit to clear the path to the clinic.

First Tee is a youth development organization that enables keiki to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, First Tee creates active learning experiences that build inner strength, self confidence and resilience that keiki can carry to everything they do.
