Free cat spay, neuter clinics coming to Westside

KAUMAKANI — Free spaying and neutering for cats is being offered next Thursday to Sunday, Oct. 6 to 9, at the Gay & Robinson headquarters, 1 Kaumakani Avenue.

Greater Good Charities’ Good Fix program has registration and drop-off beginning each day at 7:30 a.m. and running until 10 a.m., with registration on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cats must be in functional carriers or traps with usable doors, with a limit of one cat per carrier.

Pick-up instructions will be given at the time of drop-off. Written discharge instructions will be given at the time of discharge. All cats receiving services will be ear-tipped to demonstrate sterilization.

Sponsors are the Kaua‘i Humane Society, Gay & Robinson, Kaua‘i Community Cat Project, County of Kaua‘i and Kaua‘i Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
