HANAPEPE — Hanapepe Bridge on Hanapepe Road will be closed for waterline work from May 28 to Aug. 31, according to a county press release.
Access will be limited to pedestrians and bicyclists.
The work to be performed will be for the Kauai Department of Water and will include the installation of a new waterline, walkway grating, curbs, pipe supports, water line jackets, sidewalks and waterline connections.
Vehicles westbound may take routes through Hana Road and Hanapepep Road, while vehicles eastbound may take detour routes through Pu‘olo Road and Hanapepe Road.
