Happy Camper for Friday, April 1, 2022

This is no April Fool’s joke…Congratulations to Kaua‘i Shores’ Jack Harvey on being named the hotel’s March Employee of the Month by the hotel’s general manager Jennie Waiwaiole-Vega during the Kaua‘i Shores Employees Luncheon where in addition to that ono Oki’s Bento food, the employees got a good Water Awareness Visitor Education (WAVE) update from Lt. Kleve Zarbaugh and credit union update information from Chantal Zarbaugh.

Lt. Tyrus Siale is on ‘maternity’?…That’s alright, Samira was visiting the Coconut Marketplace farmers market where Adam Coyaso said Mini Me (Junior was there, too!) was visiting on Tuesday…Oops, that’s one of the new days and hours for Christine’s Vietnamese food truck, now open Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m.

Congratulations, Ursie Munar and all those Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union, Kekaha. Branch name change…yes, it’s effective from today…same great people and service…just new look! And, if things go according to plan, Tess Shimabukuro and her Gather Federal Credit Union ‘ohana should be opening the curtains to the Walmart branch as early as Monday morning…Grand Opening planned for the Tax Day weekend!

OK, last chance for those free COVID home test kits…Koloa Neighborhood Center (Emperors Emporium is opening in that new Koloa shopping center, too!) from 9 a.m. to noon, and the Lihu‘e Neighborhood Center from 1 to 4 p.m.!

Welcome, April! The Easter Bunny pokes its head out at the Kukui Grove Center from 11 a.m., Saturday!
