Olaf from Disney’s “Frozen” was supposed to meet up with Princesses Mirabel Madrigal (she’s so new from Disney’s “Encanto,” Macee Martinez had to make up her costume) and Anna from “Frozen.”
But Olaf got melted, said Mrs. Claus who had time to tell her stories now that Santa is finished with making his world tour…appears we have a new Princess Day tradition in the making since Anna and Elsa were seen during last year’s Princess Day, and if we’re really good, maybe the Minions will do a surprise visit at the final showing of the Holiday Light Show (no Christmas music).
Congratulations, Lihu‘e Pharmacy on getting the okay from the National Kidney Foundation and the Department of Health to be able to set up the Quick Tent for COVID-19 testing in the parking lot back of the Target store.
Kukui Grove general manager David Sosner got a visit from his friend Richardo Hanako‘o (he’s Dutch like Elvrine Chow and Hank Zevaat). They got to grind lunch on one of those fancy purple tables that everyone likes with the lunchtime crowd (how come Ronnie Matsumura, Ernie Domingo, and Peter Rayno — it’s not Friday, or Monday so no Tommy Rita — got to sit so far inside the chain? Tommy is planning on taking in the First Hawaiian Bank Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association Division II football championships between Kapa‘a High School (Tommy said last week’s trip on Southwest Airlines was alright) and Kamehameha School-Maui at Farrington High School.
OK, Happy New Year, Kaua‘i! Stay safe, stay healthy.
