Happy Camper for Sunday, April 9, 2023

Victoria Lam, of the Little Miso bookmobile, (it’s really mobile!) said “E” is for Easter on Thursday when she hosted more than a handful of keiki, many with parents at the Lili‘uokalani Trust. (Shereen Ho‘opi‘i was thrilled with the reception of the former Children’s Librarian from the Lihu‘e Public Library for Veronica’s first appearance at the weekly (through the month of April) Storytime that starts at 10:45 a.m., right after story telling at The Sweet Shoppe (that starts at 9 a.m., ahead of all those tourists’ rush) at Kilohana.

Shereen invites keiki between 3 to 5 years old, and their caregivers for Keiki Storytime on Thursdays through May 25 starting at 10:45 a.m.

Victoria also does Wee Wiggle at Nana’s House in Waimea on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. for those Westside keiki (didn’t I say that Little Miso is mobile?).

And, if you missed some of the eggs, the West Kaua‘i Lions Club hosts its egg hunt on Sunday, where the egg hunters to age 12 need to be in place at the Kekaha Park (isn’t that Faye Park?) by 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Following that, the Kaua‘i Buddhist Council celebrates the birth of the Buddha at the Kaua‘i Soto Zen Temple in Hanapepe starting at 9:30 a.m.
