Del Fox already got his appointment to come back to Kaua‘i for 2023. He’s got to go home and take care of Amos, who has an active role in Palm Sunday services back in Washington, but is already looking forward to helping the Nawiliwili Yacht Club Race Committee (Del is a member of the Anacortes Yacht Club) with their flag sequence for the shoreline series races, so definitely he’ll be back after the NYC resumes its race series following the winter break.
The Mo‘olelo Murals artists were back Friday (a good thing for those Seattle visitors who arrived Thursday and wanted to see the Friday Night Art), and were joined by several members of the Zonta Club of Kaua‘i, who were using the murals as a backdrop for the club’s upcoming Denim Day campaign. Stay tuned for more details on that.
Nikki Cristobal said the Mo‘olelo Murals artists (they just finished Pa‘ina Paint Wednesday in the newly developed space — Sue Kanoho had to check it out — next to Robert’s Jewelry on the third Wednesday of the month) will be doing a live mural at the Kaua‘i Brewers Festival that takes place on April 9 at the Po‘ipu Beach Athletic Club as a fundraiser for the Kamawaelualani Corp. Tickets are available by visiting kauaibrewersfestival.com.
