WAILUA — Barbara Trombley of Kilauea made her first hole-in-one on hole 14 at Wailua Golf Course on July 22, using a Taylor Made driver for a total distance of 148 yards.
Conditions were set with a strong wind blowing toward Trombley as she took the shot. The ball hit the green and disappeared right into the cup.
Trombley has been golfing for 24 years and the hole-in-one was witnessed by Don Cunningham, Jerry Moore and Tom Trombley.
