KALAHEO — The Holy Cross Church pantry program with support from the Hawai‘i Foodbank Kaua‘i hosts a drive-thru food distribution for 300 families Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church on Kaumuali‘i Highway in Kalaheo.
“This is their distribution,” said Tish Remigio of the Hawai‘i Foodbank Kaua‘i. “They get the food from us, but it’s their program. The event is usually on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no pre-registration.”
Participating motorists are urged to look for traffic monitors and heed their directions.
