The large single-story structure under renovation had what was described as a “small working fire on the front side” and “multiple discarded items around house.”
The fire was reported under control at 6:13 a.m. and extinguished at 6:20 p.m.
The statement noted
“multiple areas that fire had been set, but did not progress and self-extinguished prior to HFD arrival.”
No injuries were reported, and an estimated $277,000 in property value was saved.
