The Island Insurance Foundation, the charitable arm of Island Insurance, a subsidiary of Island Holdings, Inc., donated over $600,000 to local nonprofit organizations in 2018.
In addition to supporting non-profit organizations such as Hale Kipa, Catholic Charities Hawaii, Child and Family Services, and Teach for America, the Island Insurance Foundation supports the education community through its annual Masayuki Tokioka Excellence in School Leadership Award.
Each year, public school principals across the state are recognized with personal cash awards for their efforts to provide high-quality learning opportunities for their students. Currently in its 15th year, over $500,000 has been awarded to public school principals.
