It’s wise to be wary of 5G

I was very happy to see TGI article, “Group protests 5G, doesn’t want it on Kauai,” published Thursday, May 16.

The source of the quotes in this letter are from www.jrseco.com.

“The expansion of the 5G network, intended to enable faster wireless transmission of larger amounts of data, requires the installation of many more antennas in urban areas. In this way, the scientists argue, there is no longer anyone escaping the potentially harmful effects of radiation. After all, we are already exposed to 2G, 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi radiation.”

“In an appeal to the European Union, more than 180 scientists and doctors from 36 countries warn about the danger of 5G, which will lead to a massive increase in involuntary exposure to electromagnetic radiation.”

“One of the initiators is Dr. L. Hardell, professor of oncology at Örebro University in Sweden. He states: ‘The telecom industry is trying to roll out technology that may have very real, unintended harmful consequences. Scientific studies, both recently and over many years, have identified harmful effects on health when testing wireless products under realistic conditions. We are very concerned that the increase in radiation exposure by 5G leads to damage that cannot be reversed.’”

“The incidence of glioblastoma brain tumor increased tenfold between 1985 and 2015 in the U.K.” Research indicates cell phone and Wi-Fi radiation may be responsible. “Inferring the 1985–2014 impact of mobile phone use on selected brain cancer subtypes using Bayesian structural time series and synthetic controls” (Environ. Int. 2016, 97, 100-107). More research is needed.

“Australian brain surgeon Dr. Charlie Teo confirms this in an interview, shown on CBS’ ‘60 Minutes’ program in April 2009. Dr. Charlie Teo says: ‘I have been incredibly worried, concerned, depressed at the number of kids that I am seeing that come in with brain tumors, malignant brain tumors. Just in the last three or four weeks I’ve seen probably half a dozen kids with tumors that really should have been benign, and they’ve all been nasty, malignant brain tumors. We are doing something terribly wrong.’”

“The National Toxicology Program (NTP) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services concluded there is clear evidence that male rats exposed to high levels of radio frequency radiation (RFR) like that used in 2G and 3G cell phones developed cancerous heart tumors, according to final reports released. There was also some evidence of tumors in the brains and adrenal glands of the exposed male rats.”

“The $30 million NTP study took more than 10 years to complete, and is one of the most comprehensive assessments to date of health effects in animals exposed to RFR.”

“The original objective of the study was to test the assumption that nonionizing radiation — which RFR is — could not cause adverse health effects because it did not have enough energy to break chemical bonds. Well, we now know that that assumption is wrong because of the multiple effects that were identified in the NTP study (Dr. Ronald Melnick — NTP study lead scientist).”

The phenomenon of rapid deployment of 5G is similar to Bayer, which bought out Monsanto, and still claims Roundup Ready doesn’t cause cancer. But as you have probably heard, for the third time in nine months, a jury has concluded that Roundup weedkiller is to blame for causing non-Hodgkins lymphoma, a potentially deadly form of cancer. The victims this time? A husband and wife who believed Monsanto’s claims that Roundup was safe. The outcome of this third trial? Monsanto’s parent company, Bayer, was ordered to pay the plaintiffs $2 billion ($1 billion each) in punitive and compensatory damages, and another $55 million in past and future medical bills,” reports Katherine Paul and Ronnie Cummins (Organic Bytes, Organic Consumers Association).”

Just like Bayer (Monsanto) swears in the court that Roundup is safe, we will see the proponents of 5G will swear in court that 5G is safe. In other words, developers of 5G, similar to Monsanto, claim that 5G is 100 percent safe when already scientific and medical evidence, mentioned above and admissible in court, indicates it is not safe.

Brussels is not going ahead with 5G due to health concerns.

Kauai should be smarter and safe like Brussels, and not go ahead with 5G.

JRS Ecowifi Wireless, a product from Holland, reduces Wi-Fi radiation by a measured 90 percent in the home compared to standard modems used on Kauai. This indicates there are safe and cost-effective solutions that can and should also be developed to replace the dangerous 5G technology.
