Following are this week’s synopses of shows on KBFD TV, which televises Korean dramas with English subtitles:
Weekly Update
“Dearest Lady”
Episodes 1, 2, 3 and 4 (Sun.)
Today, 6:40 p.m.: Dearest Lady is a story of struggle between a mother and a daughter as they pave their way through reality of life. It showcases lives led by a single, divorced and remarried women as they face society. Their story will show the important role of the family love. Gyu-chan asks Bo-bae to give him an answer soon. Young-kwang and Ah-reum are about to kiss for the first time. Ah-reum tells Bo-bae she found someone she wants to marry.
Today, 7:45 p.m.: Ah-reum is plodded by Heung-gia to meet Ae-sun to apologize. Ae-sun tells her she’d forgive her if Ah-reum makes her an outfit. Bo-bae is in quandary over Gyu-chan’s proposal. Gyu-chan is elated to hear Bo-bae has told her daughters about him. Young-kwang and Ah-reum find out their parents are to remarry. Ah-jung sees them together and wonders about their relationship.
“My Secret Terrius”
Episodes 21 and 22 (Mon.); Episodes 23 and 24 (Tues.)
Monday, 6:45 p.m.: Bon, Ae Rin and Ji Yeon rushes to the school auditorium hearing a terror threat. They try to contact the school with the information with no avail. Meanwhile the timer starts. They are left with deactivating the bomb.
Tuesday, 6:50 p.m.: Bon studies the route and is caught off guard when the car stops. Ji Yeon is also perplexed at the situation when the van Bon was riding blows up. The van is engulfed in flames. Ae Rin goes hiding in her parents’ in Jeju. Eun-ha gets her hands on something important.
“You Are Too Much”
Episodes 9 (Wed.);
Episode 10 (Thur.)
Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Haedang decides to leave Gyongsu for his future. Gyongja realizes Nagyong manipulated her ways to have Jina move in. Gyongja devises a plan to jeopardize Nagyong’s position. Cornered Nagyong exposes to Hyunjoon that Sunghwan witnessed his mother’s jump.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Gyongsu sees how Hyunjoon and Haedang are getting closer. Hyunjoon has dinner with Jina to get a rise out of Sunghwan. Gyongsu lies and tells Hyunjoon that his mother’s letter is lost. Gyongja slaps Jina for seducing both her son and grandson.
“Kim Suro, the Iron King”
Episode 3 (Fri.);
Episode 4 (Sat.)
Friday, 7:50 p.m.: Suro would not just watch Yeoi die as a sacrifice and runs away with her. Yeoi questions where they are headed and he answers that it is a sanctuary even criminals are safe. Taegang and Yibeega both find out Suro and Yeoi are in Sodo and head that way.
Saturday, 7:50 p.m.: Jobang goes down on his knees in front of Shingui Ghan to spare Suro. Shingui Ghan in turn asks Jobang the master plan for the ironsmith. Shingui Ghan finds out about Jongyunbee and her child. Shingui Ghan asks Jobang to side with him for keeping his secret safe.
