K-DRAMA: Bo-bae is appalled; Shingui Ghan meets his end

Following are this week’s synopses of shows on KBFD TV, which televises Korean dramas with English subtitles:

Weekly Update

“Dearest Lady”
Episodes 53, 54, 55 and 56 (Sun.)

Today, 6:40 p.m.: Mal-sook moves into Gyu-chan’s saying the three of them should live together. Bo-bae is appalled at her blatant move. Ah-reum tells Kang-ho she can’t live without Young-kwang. Ah-reum asks Young-kwang to have ceremony to promise their future. Bo-bae is shocked at Ah-reum’s suggestion.

Today, 7:45 p.m.: Gyu-chan tells Young-kwang to move out with Mal-sook. Young-kwang replies he’ll move out after he marries Ah-reum. Kang-ho tells Se-ran he’s found someone else and can’t marry her. Kang-ho tells Gyu-chan he loves Ah-reum when Gyu-chan asks how he feels about Ah-reum. Se-ran is set on marrying Kang-ho. Kang-mi plods Byung-ki to divorce Ah-jung.

Monday, 6:45 p.m.: Soo Jae is tormented that her choices made Chan miserable. A mock trial is held at Seojung U. Law School where Chan comes face-to-face with Choi Tae Kook. The Legal Clinic Center members rally to help Chan uncover the truth of the case ten years ago.

Tuesday, 6:50 p.m.: Devastated and dismayed, Soo Jae goes to Jae Yi to spend time with her. The Legal Clinic Center members dig into Choi Joo Wan, Han Dong Oh, and Lee Shi Hyuk, the perpetrators of the crime ten years ago. Soo Jae offers Choi Tae Kook an agreement while lording his Achilles’ heel over him. Meanwhile, Soo Jae’s daughter disappears.

“You Are Too Much”

Episode 36 (Thur.)

Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Hyunsung introduces Chulwoo, object of Jina’s illicit affair, as his friend to Sunghwan. Hyunjoon feels something is off with Chulwoo. Haedang tells Hyunjoon there’s an evidence of Kyungae’s death in Jina’s house.

Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Jina manipulates Sunghwan into blocking Haedang’s marriage. Haedang gives Hyunjoon Kyungae’s letter and tells him she’ll leave with Gyongsu. Infuriated by Jina’s wrongdoings, Hyunsung tells Nagyong to bring evidence of Jina’s affair.

“Kim Suro, the Iron King”
Episode 29 (Fri.); Episode 30 (Sat.)

Friday, 7:50 p.m.: Shingui Ghan and Kitae are captured by Deukson. Suro proposes Shingui Ghan to become his man but Shingui Ghan refuses. Shingui Ghan meets his end. Talhae schemes to wed Ani, deceiving Chachawoong. Other lords push for the wedding to keep the power in balance.

Saturday, 7:50 p.m.: Suro refuses get married with strings attached. Lords decide to retract their support for him. Suro proposes the lords to join him in court to run the kingdom together.
