Following are this week’s synopses of shows on KBFD TV, which televises Korean dramas with English subtitles:
Weekly Update
“Blessing of the Sea” Episodes 61, 62, 63 and 64 (Sunday)
Today, 6:40 p.m.: When Ji-na and Pil-du fail at framing Poong-do for embezzlement, they scheme yet again. Chung-yi warns Pil-do he’s evildoings with Ji-na will be exposed. Pil-du submits a colorful document for Poong-do to sign to test his colorblindness. Poong-do’s condition is at the verge of being found out.
Today, 7:45 p.m.: Chairman Ma makes an appearance at the office. Pil-du attacks Chairman Ma saying she’s the one who pushed him to this state. Police takes Pil-du in for embezzlement and attempted murder charges.
“Moment of Romance,” KBS one-part drama special
Monday, 6:45 p.m.: A young couple’s love and break up seen from different views. A long-time couple goes through plateau in a relationship where everything is taken for granted until one fated bet that made her realize that the relationship isn’t going the right way.
“Palace,” one-part special
Tuesday, 6:50 p.m.: A concubine vying for the Crown Prince’s affection schemes to drive out her rival the Crown Princess. A palace maiden gets mixed up in this royal court’s politics when the concubine orders her to bring harm to the Crown Princess. She is torn between her compassion for the Crown Princess and her own survival.
“Secret House” Episodes 93 and 94 (Wednesday) Episodes 95 and 96 (Thursday)
Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Ji-hwan confronts Tae-hyung about his birth father. Ji-hwan finds Nam Chan-woo’s diary. Ji-hwan tries to compare his father’s handwriting on his diary and the will. If the writing is different, then it could mean that his father’s death wasn’t natural. Ji-hwan gets into an accident.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Sook-jin realizes Tae-hyung’s irrational behavior. Sook-jin tries to erase all trace of accident. Ji-hwan decides he needs to reveal the truth to Chairman Nam. Tae-hyung needed Annie Brown’s help. She detested him but kept it under control to take revenge on him.
“Gwanggaeto” Episode 19 (Friday); Episode 20 (Saturday)
Friday, 7:50 p.m.: Posters calling for Damdeok to be named the crown prince are seen at the marketplace. Damdeok surmises that Ga Raji is behind the posters and makes moves covertly. But Ga Raji convinces Dammang that Damdeok is behind the posters and Dammang starts to be consumed with jealousy and suspicion.
Saturday, 7:50 p.m.: Dammang goes out in public to gauge the public opinion but that only shows him that the people support Damdeok. Ga Raji goads Dammang into trying to ride a Ferghana horse that has been brought to the palace as legend has it the one who can tame such a horse is destined to be king. But Dammang falls off the horse and gets injured.
