KAPA‘A — The Kapa‘a Middle School Chorus and ‘Ukulele Band will hold its free (donations welcomed at the door) Spring Choral &Ukulele Band Concert on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the school’s covered court.
In addition to the concert, Kapa‘a Middle School Chorus Director Mary Lardizabal said there will be about a dozen craft vendors for concert attendees to check out before the concert.
“The concert should start at 6:30 p.m.,” Lardizabal said. “Doors to the covered court open at 6 p.m., and the vendors should be ready for shoppers by 5:30 p.m.”
The spring concert will feature the talent and accomplishments of the Kapa‘a Middle School Chorus and ‘Ukulele Band that recently earned honors at an off-island choral and band competition.
The ‘Ukulele Band is directed by Loke Sasil, and the concert is made possible through the help of the Kapa‘a Middle School Choir Boosters Club.
