Kaua‘i seeking grant proposals

LIHU‘E — The County of Kaua‘i Office of the Mayor is accepting applications for the fiscal year 2022-23 grants-in-aid program.

The intent of the program is to support projects and activities meeting a distinctive cultural, social or economic need for which adequate federal or state funding cannot be secured. Proposals submitted will be reviewed and considered for the funding of projects or program budgets for the applicants.

Eligible nonprofit organizations can apply for up to $25,000 of funding.

To apply, interested parties can visit kauai.gov and click on the “FY23 COK Grant RFP/Application” button.

Proposals must be received on or before Sept. 1 by 4:30 p.m. This deadline is not a postmarked date. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered and will be returned to the applicants.

Applicants will be notified of funding during the week of Sept. 19. The project funding period will be Oct. 1, 2022, to Sept. 30, 2023.
