KAPA‘A — Kapa‘a High School athletic director Greg Gonsalves, the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation coordinator for Boys Volleyball, has issued a plea for volleyball officials for the upcoming boys volleyball season.
“The KIF is in need of volleyball officials for the upcoming boys volleyball season,” Gonsalves said in an email. “If anyone is interested in helping our sports community, and high school athletics, please contact Greg Gonsalves, athletic director at Kapa‘a High School at 808-821-4400.”
There is an urgency to this request because the first games of the boys volleyball are scheduled to take place March 11.
Kapa‘a boys will host the Waimea Menehune at the Bernice Hundley Gym on the campus of Kapa‘a High School with both Junior Varsity and Varsity division contests. The JV contest serves up starting at 5 p.m., and the varsity contest follows, but not earlier than 6:30 p.m.
