LIHU‘E — The Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank, in partnership with Pepsi and the Wailua Meat Co. will host a drive-through food distribution, Saturday at the Kaua‘i Veterans Center on the Veterans Memorial Highway.
Kelvin Moniz, the KIFB executive director, said 300 food packages will be distributed with the help of volunteers from the Credit Unions of Kaua‘i, the Kaua‘i Board of Realtors, the East Kaua‘i Lions Club, the Zonta Club of Kaua‘i, and Macy’s.
The distribution starts at 7:30 a.m. until supplies are exhausted. Distribution will be done on a first-come, first-served basis with no appointments required.
