League of Women Voters has election 411

HONOLULU — Most Hawai‘i voters have received or will soon receive ballots for the Aug. 13 primary election.

Anyone who does not feel they have the information needed to make informed decisions, VOTE411.org can help.

The website is provided by the League of Women Voters as a source of current, accurate and non-partisan candidate information.

The VOTE411.org website is easy to use. Enter a physical address on the main page and be directed to the primary races that appear on the ballot for the home address. Candidate information has been submitted to the website.

All candidates across all islands have been invited to post their information. Most have submitted photos, described their backgrounds, identified their most important issues and given links to e-mail and website links.

The LWV of Hawai‘i encourages all eligible citizens to vote, as many races are decided in the primary.
