No need for fence or gate

“Gate Closed at Queen’s Bath” — November 9, 2019.

The fence and attempts at limiting access to Queen’s Bath have failed. The lack of response between the county and the PHCA has led to scofflaws. How so?

Contrary to popular myth, the surf at Queen’s Bath is low to flat most of the time and the gate is supposed to be unlocked. This has not been the case. I have driven by the gate in the middle of summer, no surf whatsoever, and the gate is locked.

I think that the ugly chain linked fence (which the PHCA has prohibited in its by-laws for residents) should be removed.

We live in a cultural mentality that states, “I have found my paradise, no more visitors.”
