E-bikers need rules
“Two Keiki injured after e-bike collision” — I hope that the two recover quickly!
Some time ago (approximately a year), I’ve written a Letter in the TGI Forum concerning keiki on e-bikes.
I wrote that they (keiki) riding these e-bikes on the highways and streets should be treated like a moped or motorcycle rider. They should take a test and go through a safety course to obtain a permit/license. Also, must wear a helmet, bright color clothing/jacket, and safety goggles or sunglasses to protect their eyes from flying objects. Not to add salt to the wound, the e-biker should pay a yearly registration fee. Since they ride on the roads/streets.
I drive through Kekaha on the highway and streets. I’ve seen some of these keiki that don’t obey the rules. And zigzag, ride through the cross walk seconds before a vehicle and on the streets and highways.
In generally speaking, what’s mentioned in the second paragraph happens everywhere on the island.
Have the e-bikers take a safety class, learn the rules of riding on the streets/highway!

‘The Art of the Con’
Over the last couple of days I wrote the president. So I thought why not share it with others and the TGI is my start. As far as Hawaii is concerned 68 percent will like it and 32 percent won’t.
Oh hi Mr President. I’m kinda busy with the Resistance, but I wanted to get in a message to you.
You took the oath of office, where you defend and abide by the Constitution and then right out of the gate you defy that Constitution. You know, that 14th Amendment thing. You’ll probably have other chances, so you better keep your Generals in line. Well, that may not work out? If you give them an unconstitutional thus illegal order, they may have to stage a coup.
This past week I saw someone with your book “The Art of the Deal.” You know I think a better title is “The Art of the Con,” as in Con-Artist or Snake-Oil Salesman. There’s also another definition for Con, it’s short for Convicted Criminal. As I’ve said, there’s the Resistance, but I want to leave you with one more item.
Your VP is a very opportunist person. After all, he called you Hitler and look where he’s at now. I don’t think you’re Hitler, you’re more like Mussolini. I think after 3 years you’ll be showing signs of cognitive decline, much more than Biden’s, and the VP will make his move. He’ll bring the Cabinet together and the 25th Amendment will be exercised. The VP will take over the presidency and get a years head start on the 2028 election. It could happen?

To All Voters
This last week, a person none of us voted for perpetrated a massive data breach at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The Treasury is responsible for distribution of funds for payments and programs of all kinds. It is OUR money and OUR personal information. What Elon Musk plans to do with all of our data or money is unclear, but he doesn’t care about you or me. What he did was illegal, unconstitutional and, frankly terrifying. This is not partisan politics anymore, this is The People vs. Billionaires.
