HANAPEPE — The Mililani Trojans blemished Kamehameha Schools-Hawaii’s record with a 7-0 win Saturday to clinch the Waimea Menehune Invitational softball tournament contested over two fields at Hanapepe Stadium.
Earlier in the tournament, the host Menehune took a 14-4 win over the Warriors behind a pair of home runs — a grand slam and a three-run home run by Kieren Henderson on Friday afternoon.
That set the stage for a showdown with the Mililani Trojans, who pulled off an 8-2 win to preserve its record on Friday.
