Molokoa Subdivision roadwork continues

LIHU‘E — Due to inclement weather, roadwork has been rescheduled on weekdays only through Monday, Feb. 8, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., in the Molokoa Subdivision.

The county Department of Public Works announced that GP Maintenance Solutions will be conducting roadwork, weather- permitting.

Work will continue on Uluhui, Uahiapele, Alohi and Palai streets, and Uiki and Lalei places. The scope of work includes grass-cutting, weed control and seal coating.

There will be road closures during the seal coating through Feb. 8. No parking will be allowed on the road or road shoulders. No vehicle access will be allowed on the roadways or grassy shoulders, and any vehicle left in the work zone after 7:30 a.m. will be towed away at the driver’s/owner’s expense. Contact the Kaua‘i Police Department at 241-1711 for towed vehicles.

There shall be no walking on wet seal-coat material. No vehicles may enter or exit the areas until the seal coat is dry.

For questions regarding this project, contact John Kerston of GP Maintenance Solutions at 864-0323.
