PO‘IPU – The county Department of Public Works announced that portions of Kaheka, Maulili, Pu‘uholo and Ho‘ona roads, including the Ho‘ona Road spur, will be closed on Friday, Sept. 18, and Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 21 and 22, to allow Maui Kupono Builders to conduct road-reconstruction work.
Portions of these roads will be closed between 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the following schedule:
• Friday, Sept. 18 – Kaheka Road, Maulili Road, and Pu‘uholo Road;
• Monday, Sept. 21 – Ho‘ona Road;
• Tuesday, Sept. 22 – Ho‘ona Road, including Ho‘ona Road spur.
One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained, and flaggers will be positioned.
