KILAUEA — Namahana School, the new public middle and high school on the North Shore that is scheduled to open in the fall of 2025, will host a community meeting on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Anaina Hou Community Park Porter Pavilion in Kilauea.
During the keiki-friendly meeting, individuals and families can learn more about Namahana School’s educational model, and meet the Namahana School and the Namahana Education Foundation teams, including Kapua Chandler, the school’s leader.
Attendees will get a sneak peek at the campus design and visit an informational table for involvement opportunities.
Free food will be provided to the first 100 people attending the event.
The Hawai‘i State Public Charter School Commission granted its charter approval to Namahana School in June 2022.
