WAILUA — The next Surfrider Foundation Net Patrol beach cleanup is Wednesday at 3:30 p.m., an “easy” cleanup of Kitchens Beach after meeting in the Wailua Golf Course parking lot for a short walk to the beach.
The Net Patrol has cleanups planned for the next two Wednesdays, also at 3:30 p.m.: Jan. 18 at Anahola Beach Park’s south end for a “relatively easy” cleanup; and Jan. 25 from the Kaua‘i Lagoons parking lot for a “rocky coastline cleanup” of the area around the Ninini Point Lighthouse. Toed, sturdy shoes are recommended.
