Gladys Lynda “Sugar” Bolton, 75, of Naalehu died April 4 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Elroy Osorio Sr., 94, of Hilo died April 1 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a former County Council chairman, Realtor, police officer, Hawaiian Telephone lineman, Certified Commercial Investment Member and member of its supervisory board, marketing representative for Title Guaranty, member and president of several chambers of commerce, member of Elks Club and Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, a longtime Republican, Merchant Marine during World War II and participated in the Keaukaha kupuna program.
