Henrietta Kukula Kamohai Dixon, 90, of Pahoa died Nov. 21 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker. Visitation 9-10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Burial at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery #2. Face masks and social distancing required. Survived by sons, Abraham (Carol) Sanchez Jr. of Pahoa and Larry (Susie) Sanchez of California; daughter, Henrietta (Alvin) Gaspang of Pahoa; sister in-law, Beverly Kamohai of Hilo; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Ronald Masao Hayashi, 72, of Hilo died Nov. 17 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, he was a retired eligibility worker with the State of Hawaii, Dept. of Human Services and member of the Hilo Meishion Mission. Private family services held. No flowers or koden (monetary donations). Survived by wife, Sandra Hayashi of Hilo; sons, Kyle (Tiara Lei Kim) Hayashi of Honolulu and Scott (Cynthia) Hayashi of Hilo; sisters, Lorraine (Stanley) Yamashita and Karen (Jon) Yasuda of Honolulu; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Jean Dorothy Senner Lai, 89, of Hilo died on Dec. 16 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Wisconsin, she was retired from the food service and hotel industry. Services to be determined. Ru Ann Mikilani Henry Oshiro, 55, of Hilo died Dec. 3 at home. Born in Hilo, she was an executive paralegal with the County of Hawaii, Corporation Counsel and was a member of the HGEA. Survived by husband, Gabriel Oshiro of Hilo; sons, Hunter Oshiro and Ryder Oshiro of Hilo; hanai sons, Ikaika (Latoya) Kaili and Chawn (Calista) Kaili of Hilo; hanai daughter, Cheylan (Avelino) Kaili Lee of Hilo; brother, Shayne Henry of Hilo; sister, Erin Lee Daog of Hilo; sisters-in-law, Eunice Oshiro of California and Claire (Keith) Miyashiro of Hilo; brother-in-law, Brian (Rio) Oshiro of Honolulu; cousins, nieces and nephews. Dr. Scott Thompson, 68, of Papaaloa died Sept. 25 in Austin, Texas. Born in Amarillo, Texas, he retired from the UH Hilo Economics Department. No services. Survived by daughters, Alisson Thompson of Austin, Texas and Alika Thompson of Highland Village, Texas; sister, Sissy Caris of Laguna Beach, Calif.

Enid Miyada Ushijima, 86, of Waimea, formerly of Wahiawa, died Nov. 19 at home. Born in Hilo, she and was a retired teacher from Wahiawa Elementary School and Lincoln Wrecker. Privates services. Survived by husband, Richard Ushijima of Waimea; son, Ryan Ushijima of Honolulu; daughters, Susan (Ron) Quong of Honolulu and Lani (Brent) Kiyota of Waimea; two grandchildren.
